PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which lipids in the membrane material of fat globules are separated and recovered from whey and the whey is utilizable after the separation without limitations. SOLUTION: The method of separation and recovery of lipids in the membrane material of fat globules from whey comprises a filtration process in which whey containing the membrane material of fat globules is filtered using a precision filtering membrane to obtain a cake, a drying process in which the cake is dried to obtain a powder and an extraction process in which the powder is subjected to extraction treatment with supercritical carbon dioxide.
