PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust bearing at lower costs than a rolling thrust bearing and having friction resistance smaller than that of a current thrust bearing made of resin. SOLUTION: The thrust bearing to be interposed between an input shaft and an output shaft to support a thrust load comprises a ring-like bearing main body 11 provided with a plurality of bottomed circular pockets 3 in an end surface thereof and a bearing plate 2 having a diameter smaller than that of the pocket 3 and housed in each of the pockets 3.
