PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve type water turbine power generation facility suppressing peeling off of a flow at a guide vane negative pressure surface and realizing enhancement of water turbine efficiency. SOLUTION: In the valve type water turbine power generation facility, a valve 2 built-in with a generator 5 at the inside is arranged in a vertical flowing water passage 1, a runner 7 is mounted to a distal end of a spindle 6 of the generator 5 and the spindle 6 of the generator 5 and the runner are arranged concentrically to the flowing water passage 1. A flow regulation impeller 15 for rectifying the inflow into a guide vane 8 is provided on an outer wall surface of the valve 2 in an upstream side of the guide vane 8 for adjusting an amount of inflow water into the runner 7 in response to requirement load.
