PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool a power device such as a switching element, etc., without increasing the pressure loss. SOLUTION: The power device 23 of a circuit board 27 is arranged in the outer surface of a partition 88 forming a passage 29 between a discharge port 22 of a centrifugal fan 4 and a motor 2, so that air current in the passage 29 inside a case 5 is not disturbed by the power device 23, and the pressure loss is not increased, and positioned on the farther upstream side than the motor 2 part in the air current by the centrifugal fan 4 so as to effectively enable the power device 23 without affecting the heat of the motor 2 part. The circuit board 27 is arranged between the motor 2 and the centrifugal fan 4, and a substrate ventilation port 75 to form the passage 29 is formed in the circuit board 27 so that the electric blower can be reduced in size.
