PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a leak diagnosis without decreasing the speed of an assembling line, at the time of completed vehicle inspection in a factory. SOLUTION: The evaporated fuel control device for an internal combustion engine comprises a canister adsorbing evaporated fuel generated in a fuel tank; an atmosphere releasing passage connecting the canister to the atmosphere; a purge valve provide between an intake passage and the canister; a purge controlling means for controlling the purge valve so as to purge the evaporated fuel adsorbed by the canister to the intake passage; and a leak diagnosis device making the inside of the evaporated fuel control device negative pressure state during stopping of an internal combustion engine, and carrying out leak diagnosis in the evaporated fuel control device. The leak diagnosis device is provided with a factory inspection mode set to make diagnosis time shorter than that f normal leak diagnosis when a factory inspection signal is inputted in the evaporated fuel control device.
