<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonance effect adding device that adds effects by faithfully simulating resonance effects of an acoustic piano. <P>SOLUTION: A sound source section 30 reads waveform data corresponding to a depressed key out of a waveform memory 35 and outputs them as an audio signal. The audio signal is inputted to resonance units 100-1 to 100-m in parallel and the gate 110 of a resonance unit 100 corresponding to the pressed key is opened. Then an audio signal including all musical sounds corresponding to all pressed keys is inputted to (n) resonance circuits 120 of all resonance units 100 whose gates 110 are open. Consequently, a resonance unit 100 whose gate 110 is open generates a resonant sound when the audio signal includes components coincident with the fundamental tone and harmonic of a pressed key, thereby adding resonance effects to a musical sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
