<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a specific background image on the background of a thumbnail image list without performing troublesome work. <P>SOLUTION: A list of thumbnail images of image data stored in a holder selected by a user is displayed in a thumbnail image list display field 21B. In this regard, a background image related to the year and month of photography is displayed on the background of the thumbnail image list display field 21B with reference to information of the day of photography imparted to image data corresponding to the thumbnail image.
