<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte of low cost and high performance utilizing an organic-inorganic complex compound, showing high ion conductivity even at alkaline type, and an electrochemical system using the solid electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: A complex compound containing at least a kind out of a silicic acid compound and a stannic acid compound as well as a compound having polyvinyl alcohol and a carboxyl group or a water-including complex compound including metal salt of the above are basically contained in the solid electrolyte. The silicic acid compound or the stannic acid compound obtained by neutralizing an aqueous solution in which, an alkaline metal salt of silicic acid or stannic acid, and a compound having polyvinyl group and carboxyl group or metal salt thereof coexists by acid, and by removing unnecessary salt after removing water as a solvent; a solid electrolyte which is a water-including complex compound composed of a compound having polyvinyl alcohol group and a carboxyl group or a metal salt thereof; and various electrochemical systems using the solid electrolyte; are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
