<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the implementation rate of a maintenance check. <P>SOLUTION: When a customer to be checked is absent, a portable telephone set 10 transmits work correspondence information to a server 20 via the Internet 100 in accordance with the operation of a field staff. The server 20 stores the received work correspondence information in a check work data registration database 23. The server 20 extracts the work correspondence information from the check work data registration database 23, sums up the extracted work correspondence information and takes statistics of the information, and then, obtains statistic data which indicates the absence tendency of the customer so as to store it in an absence tendency information database 24.
