<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of improving a cycle property while keeping large capacity, and an electrolyte liquid used for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The battery is composed of a wound electrode body 20 formed by laminating and winding a cathode 21 and an anode 22 through a separator 23. The separator 23 is impregnated with the electrolyte liquid. The electrolyte liquid contains difluorobenzene, trifluorobenzene, tetrafluorobenzene or pentafluorobenzene.
