PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method capable of referring to any point on a map as smoothly as possible while significantly increasing the use of hardware resources according to this reference. SOLUTION: A terminal 1 draws a menu image composed of a contracted display image obtained by contracting a display image or a vectored display image obtained by making the display image to vector information in a plurality of decided areas, displays the menu image in the decided areas while attaching identification numbers thereto, acquires a selected decided area and circumferential decided areas thereof, and stores and displays these decided areas.
