HEAT TREATMENT METHOD FOR PRESS-CUTTING DIE, AND PRESS-CUTTING DIE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment method by which an entire press-cutting blade is uniformly annealed by using a laser beam L.

SOLUTION: When heat treatment is executed to the press-cutting blade 2 in a press-cutting die 1 in which a press-cutting blade 3 with a prescribed pattern is formed to one face of a base 2, the entire press-cutting blade 3 is uniformly heated by scanning the laser beam L to the press-cutting die 1 at a fixed speed. When heat treatment is executed to the press-cutting blade 3 in the press-cutting die 1 in which the press-cutting blade 3 with a prescribed pattern is formed to one face of the base 2, the optical axis of a laser light source is scanned to the press-cutting die 1 at a fixed speed after relatively moving the laser light source and the press-cutting die 1. When the optical axis of the laser light source is located at a part corresponding to the press-cutting blade 3 in the scanning step, the press-cutting blade 3 is irradiated with the laser beam L by outputting the laser beam L from the laser light source. Consequently, the entire press-cutting blade 3 is uniformly heated.
