摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor of high sensitivity, of which a maximum dimension of an occupation space to a length of an optical path is small. <P>SOLUTION: A sample cell 10 is constituted by bonding two sheets of plate-shaped cell elements 11, 12, and a pipe conduit 13 is formed between both cell elements 11, 12 for introducing a gas as a sample in a state of blocking the outside light. A light source 21 for applying the light to the gas in the pipe conduit 13, is mounted on one end part of the pipe conduit 13, and a photodetector 22 receiving the light radiated from the light source 21 and generating the electric output in accordance with the light receiving intensity, is mounted on the other end part of the pipe conduit 13. The pipe conduit 13 is formed in such a state that its center line in the axial direction meanders in one plane between the light source 21 and the photodetector 22, and an inner face of the pipe conduit 13 has a reflection face over the entire surface for transmitting the light radiated from the light source 21 to the photodetector 22 without leaking the light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
