<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that adjusts a beam to an optimum one according to a plate thickness by correcting the control axis of a reflection mirror of a laser beam in a laser beam machine. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam emitted from an oscillator 550 in a laser beam machine is reflected by a mirror 570 via an output mirror 560 and introduced into a laser beam machining tool 60. When moving a machining head in an X-axis direction, the reflection mirror is controlled along a U-axis parallel to the X-axis to keep an optical path length constant. By giving an offsetαto the U-axis control, the diameter D of an incident beam to a machining lens is varied so that an optimum machining beam for the plate thickness of a work is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
