<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone, an exchange, an exchange system, and its registration method by which each address information of the IP telephone and the exchange can be easily set even if the IP telephone and the exchange are connected to different sub-networks. <P>SOLUTION: Registration is once executed by firstly connecting the IP telephone 6b via a first network 2, and acquiring the IP address of the exchange 5 after requesting the IP address with broadcasting and executing a temporary registration by the acquisition of an MAC address of the IP telephone 6b included in the request packet by the exchange 5, even when the IP telephone 6b is installed to a network 3 of the sub-network different from the first network 2 to which the exchange 5 is connected. Next, the IP telephone 6b is relocated to the second network 3 being the installation destination. The registration of the IP address of the IP telephone 6b is executed again to the IP address of the exchange 5 with unicasting.
