PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of copper powder due to a slot armour insulator and a friction on a coil conductor over a long period of time. SOLUTION: A rotor of a rotary electric machine includes the slot-armor insulator 3 made of a thermoset resin reinforced with glass fiber, arranged on the internal surface side of a plurality of slots 2 formed in the outer periphery of a rotor core 1 and a coil conductor 4 contained in its inside. The slot-armor insulator 3 is obtained by lining a fluorine resin sheet 8 which performs Na etching, as a sheet material of low friction coefficient at the side facing at least the coil of a glass epoxy laminate.
