PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to refer to an image relating to a display image when images contained in an electronic album are displayed as a slide show. SOLUTION: An electronic-album displaying system comprises a video stream storing unit for storing a video stream including a plurality of images as frame images, a playback unit for reproducing the video stream, a remote controller for remotely controlling the playback unit, and a display unit for displaying the video stream, and the remote controller includes an image information storing unit storing image information for each of at least some images in the plurality of images, a related image selecting unit for selecting a related image based on a relevancy between the image information in an image reproduced and the image information in each of the at least some images, and a remote control unit for remotely controlling the playback unit to change a reproducing position of the video stream into a position of the related image.
