PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosstalk computing method for properly computing the crosstalk of a circuit, and for making the calculated noise waveform properly facilitate countermeasures to the deviation of the operation timing of an aggressor network. SOLUTION: A noise generation period is specified on the basis of a signal voltage to be supplied to an aggressor network. A first operation timing window showing the voltage change of a noise voltage which can be generated in the noise generation period is computed. Furthermore, a first transition period is specified, and a first window showing the voltage change of the first noise voltage which can be generated in the first transition period is computed on the basis of the signal voltage waveform. In the same way, a second transition period is specified, and a second window showing the voltage change of a second noise voltage which can be generated in the second transition period on the basis of the noise waveform. Then, the first operation timing window and a second operation timing window including the first window and the second window are generated. Thus, it is possible to analyze crosstalk in designing a semiconductor integrated circuit by using such crosstalk computing method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
