PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoresis display device easy to manufacture in a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The lower substrate 10 with a lower electrode 12 and the upper transparent substrate 20 with an upper electrode 22 are provided facing each other, and a display section 30 is formed in the gap between them. The display section 30 has a gap spacer 31 to fix the periphery of the display section 30 and two or more rods 50 disposed parallel and close one another, and it is filled with a liquid medium 34 containing evenly dispersed charged particles 33 moving in the direction of the electric field. The rods 50 have a thread-like material closely wound on the surfaces of the cylinders 60.
