PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed air producing system capable of supplying the maximum delivery air quantity while preventing a motor from being overloaded in a whole system. SOLUTION: This system includes a plurality of compressor main bodies 6, 13, a plurality of motors 7, 14 driving the compressor main bodies 6, 13 respectively, a plurality of inverters 8, 15 variably controlling rotation speed of the motors 7, 14, and an establishment input part for establishing and inputting a control pressure range of compressed air delivered from the compressor main body 6, 13, and is provided with control devices 12, 19 changing upper limit values of rotation speed of the compressor main bodies 6, 13 according to the control pressure range, operating one of the compressor main bodies 6, 13 by rotation speed variable control via an inverter to make rotation speed not exceed the upper limit value and operating another of the compressor main bodies 6, 13 with switching to an operation condition fixing rotation speed to the upper limit value or a stop condition.
