PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning pulp, which improves freeness of a pulp sheet and increases cleaning efficiency by preventing contamination of cleaning equipment and its system. SOLUTION: In a process for producing pulp, having at least a digesting process, a cleaning process and a purification process, a surfactant is added to process water used in the cleaning process.
