PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patching coating method for an old coating film using a thermoplastic resin as a linking agent by which patching coating can be performed without exfoliating the old coating film and without producing contraction, a crack, or the like, thereon. SOLUTION: On a surface of the old coating film using the thermoplastic resin as the linking agent, a priming coating material, which contains a solvent that does not dissolve or swell the old coating film and which forms a coating film of 3 to 200% of elongation percentage and 50 to 300μm of dry film thickness, is applied. Then, a coating film of 2 to 200% of elongation percentage and 200 to 2000μm of dry film thickness is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
