PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient multi-stage type chopper with a plurality of apparatuses each for removing sclerites without deteriorating meat quality of a meat material. SOLUTION: The multi-stage type chopper with the plurality of the apparatuses for removing the sclerites is designed to make discharge ports 5 for the sclerites and feed ports 2a of cylinders 2 successively communicate and connect the plurality of sets of choppers C1 and C2 with the apparatuses for removing the sclerites in a multi-stage state.
