METHOD FOR INHIBITING DISEASE INJURY OF CROP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inhibiting crop disease injuries with easy operation at low cost. SOLUTION: The method for inhibiting crop disease injuries with easy operation at low cost comprises inducing the resistance of crops to disease injuries by exposing the crops to moderate air blow to inhibit pathogenic fungi intrusion into the crops. Induction of the resistance of the crops to disease injuries by air blow is performed by such a method that air blow speeds and times for expressing the resistance are different for the crops from each other. By setting an air blow speed and an air blow time for each of the crops, damage of air blow caused by blowing air on the crops under a uniform condition is prevented and preventive effects can be improved efficiently. By inducing the expression of the resistance of the crops by intermittent air blow, air blow time can be shortened and air blow cost can be reduced significantly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
