<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic imaging support system which can effectively utilize a past marker in a comparative diagnostic reading and its method. <P>SOLUTION: The diagnostic imaging diagnosis support system includes an image data reading means to read the image data which shows an image of a subject captured by a medical imaging apparatus, a suspected abnormal shadow extracting means to extract the suspected abnormal shadow from the image of the subject, a display controlling means which makes a display means superpose and display a marker to show the suspected abnormal shadow and the image of the subject, an operation means to receive an operation to select the marker on the display means, a storing means to store the information of the selected marker, and a past marker retrieval means to retrieve in the storing means the information of the past marker attached to the image of the subject captured in the past from an identical region of the identical subject with the image of the subject which is made to be an object of display by the display controlling means, wherein the display controlling means makes the display means display by superposing the marker to show the suspected abnormal shadow extracted from the image of the subject which is made to be the object of display, the image of the subject which is made to be the object of display and the past marker when the information of the past marker is obtained by the past marker retrieval means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
