<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, image processing method, and image processing program which does not require reviewing a corrective parameter conversion method of automatic picture quality adjustment even if an output device is changed. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a first conversion process (step S2) which converts the color space of image data from a first color space to a second color space, a second conversion process (step S3) which converts the color space of image data that has been converted in the first conversion process from a second color space to a third color space, a picture quality adjusting process (step S4) which adjusts picture quality of the third color space for the image data that has been converted in the second conversion process, and a third conversion process (step S5) which converts the color space of image data that has been adjusted for picture quality in the picture quality adjusting process from the third color space to a fourth color space.
