<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of keeping the surface of carrier fresh all the time by preventing toner from continuously sticking to the same area of the surface of the carrier in a developing container, and to provide an image forming apparatus having the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device, which visualizes an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor drum 32 by being developed with two-component developer composed of toner and carrier by a magnet roller 62, is provided with an air outflow means 72 for allowing air to flow out into an area γ within a developing container 61 storing the two-component developer, an separating the toner and the carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
