<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-operated tail gate apparatus which can cope with a change in internal gas pressure, caused by the using environment and using state of a gas stay. <P>SOLUTION: This motor-operated tail gate apparatus is provided with detection means 10 and 11 for detecting at least either of the using environment and using state of the gas stay 6. The motor-operated tail gate apparatus is also provided with a control means 8 for controlling a drive unit 4 for imparting a driving force to a tail gate 2, depending on detection values from the detection means 10 and 11. Thus, a change in performance of the tail gate 2, which is brought about by the using environment and using state of the gas stay 6, is compensated for by the drive unit 4 which is controlled according to the detection of the using environment and using state of the gas stay 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
