<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device, having excellent torque fluctuation absorbing function, and effectively preventing abrasion and breakage of a belt. <P>SOLUTION: A pulley 5 rotated by the drive of an engine is provided on a rotating shaft 4 of a compressor 1, and a one-way clutch 20 and a torque limiter 10 for intercepting torque transmission by slippage of an elastic member 13 are built in a torque transmission path extending from the pulley 5 to the rotating shaft 4. During the normal operation of the compressor 1, when a torque change occurs in a torque transmission path extending from the engine to the rotating shaft 4, the torque fluctuation is absorbed by elastic deformation of the elastic member 13 and the disengagement of the one-way clutch 20. When overload occurs due to seizure of the compressor 1, the torque transmission from the pulley to the rotating shaft 4 is intercepted by the torque limiter 10 to prevent operational disability of the other accessories driven by the belt 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
