<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot management method and device, allowing diversified management, for example, allowing setting of a fee system wherein a use fee is changed in every vehicle room or more vehicle rooms, or allowing an advance adjustment or a change of the vehicle room, and prevention of illegal use. <P>SOLUTION: A parking ticket having an ID number is issued when entering a parking lot, entrance time is imparted, room entrance time is acquired by entrance into the vehicle room, authentication for associating the ID number and the numbers of or or more vehicle rooms applied by a user after the room entrance is enabled, and it is decided whether it is regular use or the illegal use in each the authentication to perform the management. Thereby, the authentication for associating the numbers of the plurality vehicle rooms to one ID number of the parking ticket becomes possible, and the change or the like to another vehicle room is performed after the room entrance to perform the authentication.
