PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device and a measuring method of pipe wear for examining the wear state in the longitudinal direction of the pipe in the state where many pipes are arranged in parallel in a narrow space such as a boiler heat exchanger pipes. SOLUTION: This measuring device of the pipe wear comprises a guide, a leaf spring and a strain meter as indispensable components. In the measuring device of the pipe wear, one end of the leaf spring is placed on a measuring object tube, and the other end of the leaf spring is connected to the guide outside the pipe, and when the guide is moved in the longitudinal direction of the pipe, the change of a strain applied to the leaf spring is measured, to thereby measure the pipe wear. The device is characterized by having a structure wherein the guide is a semicircular guide having a semicircular sectional shape, a connected semicircular guide, a circular guide or a connected circular guide, and the leaf spring has an elongate belt shape extending in the longitudinal direction of the pipe, and the strain meter is stuck to the leaf spring. The measuring method of the wear is characterized by measuring the wear in the longitudinal direction by moving the guide in the longitudinal direction and measuring the change of a strain of the leaf spring following the movement.
