ZOOM OBJECTIVE LENS FOR ENDOSCOPE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficient resolution in a small space by providing a zoom objective lens for use in an endoscope. SOLUTION: This zoom lens for use in the endoscope apparatus is vertically disposed with a plurality of lens units in a lens cylinder on its center line. At least a single lens unit out of the plurality of lens units is constituted hydraulically adjustable in the axial direction of the lens cylinder for changing a focal distance of the zoom lens. The focal distance of each lens unit, for changing the omnifocal distance of the zoom lens, can be thus changed by pneumatically changing the lens shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
