PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially reduce costs and time required for design and manufacture of a rotor blade of a helicopter, and significantly reduce BVI (blade vortex interaction) noise generated at the time of landing or the like of the helicopter. SOLUTION: The rotor blade 10 of the helicopter is provided with a main blade 11 having a blade root part of the main blade attached to a rotor shaft of the helicopter and a small blade attached to a blade end part of the main blade 11. The small blade 12 has a rectangular shape in plan view, and has a front edge 12a formed continuously with a front edge 11a of the main blade 11 and a chord length c1 shorter than the chord length C of the main blade 11.
