The drain opening component (1), especially for a cooking appliance, has at least one opening (7) for flow of a fluid, and at least one vaned wheel (10) with a number of vanes (12) mounted to rotate an axis (A) located eccentrically to the opening. Fluid from the opening strikes the vanes which are set in an uneven and especially chaotic movement. The vanes span a circle sector surface, whereby each circle sector surface has a first size in the form of a sixth of a circle, a second size in the form of a quarter circle, a third size as a third of a circle, and a fourth size in the form of a semi-circle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a cleaning device in a cooking appliance with at least one drain opening component for the distributing of water, cleaning fluid, a clear rinse, descaler and/or washing liquid in a cooking chamber; (B) a steaming device in a cooking appliance; and (C) a method for the supply of fluid in a cooking appliance with at least one drain opening component.
