<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of improving a cycle property and a low temperature load property. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a cathode 2 and an anode 3 electrochemically doping and dedoping lithium, and an electrolyte interposed between the cathode 2 and the anode 3. The cathode 2 contains a cathode activator made by mixing a first activator expressed by general formula: Li<SB>t</SB>CoM<SB>s</SB>O<SB>2</SB>and a second cathode activator expressed by general formula: Li<SB>x</SB>Ni<SB>(1-y-z)</SB>Co<SB>y</SB>Mn<SB>z</SB>A<SB>a</SB>O<SB>2</SB>. In the formula, M denotes a metal, 0≤s≤0.03, 0.05≤t≤1.15, and A denotes aluminum, 0.05≤x≤1.15, 0.15≤y+z≤0.70, 0.05≤z≤0.40, 0≤a≤0.10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
