<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device of an opening/closing body for a vehicle capable of constructing a structure able to resist the input of excessive load by minimized reinforcement in a transfer mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In a driving unit 11 equipped with an electric motor 20 generating a driving force and an arm 12 transmitting the driving force of the electric motor 20 to a back door 3, the opening and closing device is so constituted that a projected section 12p cutting off the transmission of the driving force between the electric motor 20 and the back door 3 by irreversibly deforming predetermined input load as a threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
