<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask capable of eliminating pollens, dust, toxic substances, bacteria, viruses or the like within the air efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The mask 1 comprises a mask body 2 and ear holder sections 4 attached on the mask body. An outer surface layer 7, an intermediate layer 9 and an inner surface layer 8 are laminated to form the mask body. The outer surface layer is made of cotton cloth partly woven with silver containing thread 11. The intermediate layer 9 contains photocatalysts 22 and nanosilver particles 30 having an extremely large contact area with the air and characteristics of both silicone (absorption, deodorization and far-infrared effect) and silver (antimicrobial and sterilizing properties).
