<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel having good impact resistance and vibration resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the touch panel, an upper substrate in which a square-shaped transparent electrode and a pair of conductive electrodes connected to opposite sides of the transparent electrode are disposed on the undersurface of a transparent substrate, and a lower substrate in which a square-shaped transparent electrode, a pair of conductive electrodes connected to opposite sides of the transparent electrode, and a plurality of dot spacers formed on the transparent electrode are disposed on the upper surface of the transparent substrate are arranged so that they face each other with predetermined interspaces, and integrated by sealing their outer peripheral areas with sealants. An FPC disposed in the outside area of the sealing is electrically connected to each conductive electrode in the inside area of the sealing through an electrode for FPC press-fixing. The electrodes for FPC press-fixing (54b, 55d, 56 and 57) are composed of thermoplastic resins or thermosetting resins in a half-cured state at a position where the electrodes for FPC press-fixing (54b, 55d, 56 and 57) and the sealants 17 intersect with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
