PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment in which the mismatching of arithmetic results can not be caused between its own equipment and external equipment even when the arithmetic systems of its own arithmetic function and the arithmetic function of the external equipment are different. SOLUTION: After the arithmetic operation of formula data key-inputted from a key input part 3 is ended, arithmetic equipment 1 which performs an arithmetic operation in an input order checks the formula data stored in a formula register 13d, and transmits the formula data as they are when multiplication/division and addition/subtraction do not exit in combination (T1; NO), and only addition/subtraction exists (T13; NO), and converts "×" and "÷" symbols into "*" and "/" symbols, and transmits the formula data to the external equipment (T12) when only the multiplication/division exists (T13; YES), and shifts it to processing T11 when the multiplication/division and the addition/subtraction coexist (T1; YES), and the multiplication/division does not exist in the post-stage of the addition/subtraction (T2; NO), and performs format conversion to put the multiplication/division part in parentheses by processing T3 to T9 when the multiplication/division exists in the post-stage of the addition/subtraction (T2; YES), and shifts it to the processing T11 when an "=" mark is detected.
