PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a high sensitivity characteristic even in a wavelength region of 400 to 450 nm, a process cartridge, and an electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor used for the electrophotographic device having a semiconductor laser beam having an oscillation wavelength in a range from 400 to 450 nm as a photosensitive light source contains a compound expressed by general formula (1) or (II) in its photosensitive layer. In the general formula (I), R<SB>1</SB>represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group or substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group; Y represents an oxygen atom or sulfur atom. In the general formula (II), X represents any one in formula (III) and Y represents an oxygen atom or sulfur atom; A in the formula (III) represents substituted or unsubstituted bivalent hydrocarbon group or substituted or unsubstituted bivalent heterocyclic group.
