PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin-screw continuous kneader which can produce a composition with a filler sufficiently dispersed in a resin material in good productivity and a kneading method using the kneader. SOLUTION: In the twin-screw continuous kneader, a twin-screw part 20 has a first screw feed part 21, a first kneading part 22, and a second screw feed part 23 in turn from the connection part side of a raw material supply part 10, the first kneading part 22 includes a reverse feed rotor 22b and a normal feed rotor 22a and has at least two combinations of the reverse feed rotor and the normal feed rotor, the ratio (total L/D of reverse feed rotor)/(total L/D of normal feed rotor) of the first kneading part 22 is 0.83-2.23, the ratio L<SB>1</SB>/D of the rotor of the first kneading part 22 is 5-15, and the ratio (σ/D) between the chip clearanceσof the outermost circumferential end part of the reverse feed rotor and the outside diameter D of a screw is 0.013-0.070.
