PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition with small deterioration of physical properties in desmear processing and excellent in adhesion. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises as essential components a polyepoxy compound represented by general formula (I-a) or (I-b), a polyphenol compound represented by general formula (II-a) or (II-b) and a phosphoamide compound.
