PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reservation system of a recording device capable of solving the problem, wherein a reservation is made invalid once by erasure, or the like and must be reset, when it needs to be revalidated, when a reservation that is set so that it is executed repeatedly needs to be invalidated for a certain period. SOLUTION: When a user sets a reservation, each reservation is equipped with a setting "ON/OFF setting" for making the reservation valid, and "OFF period setting" for setting how long the reservation is to be made invalid, when the reservation is set to be invalid (OFF) as items to be set, thus making the reservation to be repeatedly invalid for a certain period, without erasing the reservation.
