PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the conventional method using an ARP, etc. for detecting the connection of an unauthorized network apparatus needs an intelligence hub, etc. to result in cost increase and a required time for the detection, and is incapable of efficiently identifying a trouble rising on a network. SOLUTION: The method comprises a step of comparing and collating information held with a network monitor node about network apparatus, permitted to connect with connected network apparatus information collected by segment monitor nodes provided at individual segments about an actually connected network apparatus for detecting the connection of an unauthorized network apparatus, comparing, collecting the collected connected network information with each other to detect a trouble arising; and identifying the pattern of the locations where troubles arise, based on the answer results from each network apparatus with respect to a network search command.
