FERRITE-COATED METAL MAGNETIC MICROPARTICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite-coated metal magnetic microparticle which is high in adhesion between a metal magnetic microparticle as a core material and a ferrite coating layer and has the ferrite coating layer uniformly formed. SOLUTION: In a ferrite plating reaction liquid in which metal magnetic microparticles are suspended and a polymer having a carboxyl group is dissolved, ferrite plating is carried out at 50°C while the surface of the ferrite plating reaction liquid is brought into contact with gas containing oxygen to form the ferrite coating layers on surfaces of the metal magnetic microparticles. The metal magnetic microparticles are high in adhesive strength between core materials made of the metal magnetic microparticles and ferrite coatings covering the core materials, and show highly saturated magnetism when compacted and high magnetic permeability at high frequencies.
