PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor for separately adjusting/varying the maximum gain and filter characteristic of a circuit by one control signal. SOLUTION: This signal processor is equipped with: a microprocessor 110 for generating and supplying a control signal pulse train; a switching element 17 switching-controlled by the pulse train; a gain varying circuit 10 comprising resistances 15 and 16 for determining an amplification factor as to an input signal voltage, and varying resistance values of the resistances 15 and 16 in response to the pulse duty of the pulse train by switching-controlling the switching element 17, thereby controlling the amplification factor as to the signal voltage; switching elements 21 and 23 switching-controlled by the pulse train; and a switched capacitor filter circuit 20 comprising a charge and discharge capacitor 22 connected to the switching elements 21 and 23, and varying/controlling the characteristic of a filter in response to the pulse frequency of the pulse train.
