PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container in which side walls 28 raised first and side walls 26 raised later are prevented from falling inward simultaneously via lock mechanisms R between both side walls 26, 28, the lock mechanisms R being prevented from being unlocked carelessly, and vertical ribs T are arranged slightly outwardly of the container to broaden an area for label attachment, and the freedom in setting a range D for forming the vertical ribs T is given to secure enough strength. SOLUTION: The folding container 20 comprises a pair of side walls each having press pieces 30 on the ends thereof. Each press piece 30 is formed in such a way that opposed two long sides, each being elongated vertically to form an almost rectangular shape, and one short side are cut out to form a vertically elongated rocking strip, which is free to swing inwardly and outwardly of the container on one side of the rocking strip where no slit is formed.
