PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or facilitate on-site operations in mounting side plates as much as possible when a moving delivery device such as an escalator is installed, and to eliminate influences on other portions due to welding. SOLUTION: When mounting side plates in installation time of a moving delivery device such as an escalator, one face of a hinge with a spring is formed into a U sectional shape and is fitted with a notch formed at a folding part of the end of the side plate. An adjacent side plate is installed, so that the other face of the hinge is separated from the fit part of the side plate, brought into contact with a truss, and engaged with an end of the side plate to generate an energizing force between the side plate and the truss.
