PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize at an extremely low cost an unbulky case for holding and delivering a thread winding reel of dental floss used by being pulled out while stored and held, which can easily be formed even from easily printable cardboard, or the like without using a synthetic resin plate. SOLUTION: The case for the thread winding reel 12 is assembled by three-dimensionally folding a piece of cardboard or other sheet material including a case back paper 10 folded in two, a case front paper 1, a cover paper 2 continuing to the case back paper 10 via a fold b3, and a core holding paper 9 continuing to the case front paper 1 via a fold b1, and a side wall paper 3 in the shape of a flat rugby ball on either side of the case back paper 10 and either side of the case front paper 1.
