PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label pasting apparatus capable of surely transferring a label issued from a label issuing part to a predetermined position without using a suction fan. SOLUTION: In the label pasting apparatus, a label issued from the label issuing part provided below a commodity carrying means is transferred to a label pasting position provided in the middle of the carrying direction of the commodity carrying means by a label transferring means, and the label is pasted on the undersurface of the commodity passing through the label pasting position. The label transferring means is composed of a plurality of endless belts wound in parallel over two rollers separated at a predetermined interval, driven and rotatable, a gas flowing path positioned on the lower side of the endless belts and whose upper face is positioned between mutual belts, and a gas jetting means jetting a gas in the gas flowing path. A suction force is generated in an opening of the upper face of the gas flowing path by jetting the gas in the gas flowing path from the gas jetting means, and the label issued from the label issuing part is transferred while it is sucked and held on the belt surface through the opening.
